Embrace your inner kid with the signature lunch dish, create your own mac and cheese. By itself, the macaroni is delicately cooked with white cheddar and asiago cheese and tossed with fresh asparagus and a homemade cream sauce.
From here, you can add some fresh seafood. The Mermaid restaurant menu features three main additions to the mac and cheese. This includes lump blue crab, gulf shrimp, or lobster tail.

The restaurant is the new kid on the block. Opened in 2017, this busy seafood escape has undergone some extensive renovations, changes, and improvements within its first few years of operation. The front garden has undergone a beautiful transition. Its whimsical design and well-planned seasonal blooms introduce visitors to a cozy eatery year-round.
Sign of the Mermaid is located at 9707 Gulf Dr, Anna Maria, FL 34216. The restaurant uses traditional lunch-dinner hours of operation and is open Wednesday to Sundays. Breakfast and lunch are served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant closes for a few hours to prepare for dinner and opens back up for the evening at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
