The Big Ol’ Breakfast Burrito

The Breakfast Burrito at Sign of the Mermaid is stuffed full with everything you could possibly love in a single wrap. Slow-Roasted beef is only the beginning. Cover it in some crispy bacon, roasted sweet peppers, jalapenos, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, and finally coat the collection in white cheddar cheese. The wrap is topped in homemade sausage gravy.

See, you can make your very own Breakfast Burrito. Or just nab one at Sign of the Mermaid, as the location’s top breakfast signature dish.

Create Your Own Mac and Cheese

Embrace your inner kid with the signature lunch dish, create your own mac and cheese. By itself, the macaroni is delicately cooked with white cheddar and asiago cheese and tossed with fresh asparagus and a homemade cream sauce.

From here, you can add some fresh seafood. The Mermaid restaurant menu features three main additions to the mac and cheese. This includes lump blue crab, gulf shrimp, or lobster tail.

Though the menu specifically advertises only these additions, you can go crazy and add whatever you see fit, including veggies, another meat, and more. Craft your own personal concoction, whether it is something everyone at the table would eat…or no one.

A Classic Lobster Dinner

The dinner has some incredible Florida staples, and you couldn’t go wrong shellfish, scallops, fresh fish, Florentine, or an assortment of seafood in the Fish Trio.

But really, you can’t give it to anything else but the jaw-dropping Lobster Tail Dinner. The Caribbean lobster is served with a side of rich butter and lemon. You don’t need convincing. The lobster speaks for itself and remains the top-tier signature dish for an evening on Anna Maria Island.

If lobster happens to not be your thing, check out the steaks and chops, including USDA Choice Filet Mignon, Lomb Florentine, and Chicken Marsala. There are also some nice salad primers, such as the Mermaid BLT Salad and Berry Spinach.

The mermaid restaurant menu is covered in classic seafood dishes. Between the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, you can find something to knock your vacation dining experiences out of the park. You can check out every menu on the website, divided in two by breakfast/lunch and dinner.
