Experience the Bradenton Blues Music Festival

The Bradenton Blues Music Festival will be happening in December. It is an annual blues festival that bolsters an amazing group of talented international musicians, a wide selection of local craft beer, delectable food vendors, and much more. To end off the weekend of music, the festival hosts a brunch, prepared by award-winning chef Paul Mattison, with which all guests of the festival are invited to come and attend. The Bradenton Blues Music Festival will make a unique addition to your vacation. We offer plenty of Anna Maria Island rental homes near this amazing festival so you won’t miss out.

About Blues Fest

There is more to the festival than food and music though. The festival is put on by Realize Bradenton, a non-profit organization that brings people together to create and brings artistic practices to Bradenton Beach. Tickets purchased at the festival go towards supporting programs put on by Realize Bradenton, as well as some of the local artists backed by the organization.

Billy Biscuit and the Mix will also be there. Noted as the best bass player twice in 2012 and 2017, Billy Biscuit is known for his high energy shows and charismatic music. The festivities are going to be opened by the award-winning organist, singer, and songwriter who combines blues artists and modern lyrics.

The Duke Robillard Band will also be at the festival this year. Michael Robillard is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and bandleader extraordinaire. Having won the Blues Music Award for Best Guitarist in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004, the Duke Robillard Band is surely one not to be missed at this year’s festival. Next, Annika Chambers is a truly unique artist at the festival. Annika grew up singing at the church, but after two military tours for the United States Army, she understood what gift her voice had. Chambers’s debut record, Making My Mark, was an instant success and climbed up the blues charts in the United States and in Europe. She was nominated for “Best New Artist” the Blues Music Awards in 2015. Her sophomore effort, Wild and Free, debut at number seven on the Billboard blues chart. Annika continues to inspire and support the next generation of blues artists and the legacy of blues music.
