This lovely new island 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths luxury home with private heated pool is a dream. Fishful Thinking is positioned in a superb location just steps to the white sands of the gulf-side pristine beaches, nearby trolley stop, and shops of Holmes Beach. The home offers every comfort you can imagine with an open concept living, dining, and kitchen, and tile floors throughout. The spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath home has a kitchen, living room, dining room and two bedrooms with king beds, 2 full baths and a large laundry room. The kitchen is equipped with stainless appliances, granite counter tops and all the conveniences to cook a meal in. You're welcome to make use of the large garage and amazing outdoor space with private heated pool, grill, outdoor seating. This island gem is stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, beach cart, and linens for your use during your stay. It is located just minutes from the Manatee Bridge and entrance to Anna Maria Island along with the local grocery store, pharmacy, & public beach and Skate Park. The home is literally just up the street from the public beach access. It is located to a nearby free trolley stop that runs the length of the island and is a very short distance to the local beer and wine store, as well as several bars and restaurants. Don't miss this dream home. Dogs are welcome. Pet fee is $200 per pet plus taxes, maximum of 2 pets unless otherwise approved by FDR.

"Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Fishfull Thinking. The location is wonderful,a few steps to the beach in a peaceful neighbourhood. This was our second visit and well worth the 9 hour flight. Glad to see that there is now ceiling fans in the covered area by the pool. The only problem we had was there was no recycling bin. We informed Florida Dreams Realty who responded to our email but a recycling bin did not materialise.Just one small thing and that is the lack of a kettle.

"This is one of the nicest rentals we have had in our 15 years of vacationing in Holmes Beach. The house is wonderful - clean and bright. We loved lounging in the outdoor area. Great home and location

"This home was perfect for our family. It was very close to the skate/dog park along with the canal for some quick fishing. Trolley NB top is 1 block away for easy access to City Pier and Pine Street shops. We really enjoyed the outdoor space with the seating area, tv, pool, and cornhole. We tried booking it again same time next year and it was already booked.

"This is a fantastic vacation home in a great location, centrally located to all that Anna Maria has to offer. Fistful thinking has a beautiful beach, laid back vide. Home was spotless (basically staged) when we arrived. All the small touches were amazing and did not go unnoticed. Down to the new and clean beach gear available. The shady pool deck is just perfect for every afternoon/evening after the beach. Finally I can’t say enough good things about Florida Dreams Realty and their staff. After using virtually every office on the Island for close to 30 years. You by far are the best. Thank you.

Terrific Island Retreat

"This is a terrific home with everything we were looking for in a vacation stay: we had stayed on this same street last year and loved its central location and close walk to the beach. It’s clean, modern, spacious and we loved the large covered patio next to the pool, the perfect place to relax.

I was impressed with the Florida Dreams property management team: when I was booking I had a couple of questions and they were prompt and helpful in answering them for me — almost like a friend helping me out.

"Fishful Thinking was everything we wanted and needed for our family getaway to AMI! The house is beautiful, bedrooms and bathrooms are great. The outdoor space, though, was unbelievable! We spent so much time downstairs in the outdoor living room, even when the weather was yucky. Only a few small needs in the house: more towel hooks and bars! There was nowhere to hang items. And the washer/dryer need to be cleaned out. The washer's door lining was very moldy. Small maintenance needs, though. Everything else was perfect!

"Property has many great attributes! This includes the location being a short walk to the beach and a quick golf cart ride to shops and restaurants. The home was extremely clean and perfect size for a family of 4. We utilized the covered patio most of the time and kids loved the pool. We quickly went from beach to pool each day. The management company was extremely helpful and quick to respond to the couple of questions we had. Great place!

"Great house and location! House worked well for our family. A few suggestions. Lack of kitchen storage for food was challenging. Beds were very squeaky and loud. Bedrooms need better blackout curtains. Kitchen faucet and toaster probably need replacing. Pool pump very noisy while outside. Thank you for accommodating our schedule change.

"This house is perfect for 2 couples as there are 2 masters and just the right amount of space. The location is excellent and the property was clean and well maintained. On our first night (a Saturday evening), we noticed the pool pump was not working properly. Within 30 minutes of submitting a request, there was someone at the house to fix the issue. The management team was professional and courteous.

"Cannot wait to return to Anna Maria Island and stay at Fishful Thinking again! The pool/outdoor area was great and quiet. The house was also great- very nicely appointed and comfortable. "The house was beautiful and spacious. Bathrooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Decor lovely. Heated pool was delightful. Would rent again. The rental company is helpful and they came immediately to turn on the pool heat when it was off. The only thing the rental needs are simple fixes such as coffee cups, beach towels, and closet hangers. Each closet only had 2-4 hangers.

"We had a wonderful time at Fishful Thinking! The home is centrally located on AMI with a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beach is two blocks away, and there is plenty of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach cart) available for use. After a few days of walking everywhere, we quickly realized that renting bikes is a MUST! Fishful Thinking is a short 10 minute bike ride to Pine Ave. and the Sandbar restaurant (our favorite), and 10 minute bike ride south to AMI Beach Cafe, and 15-20 mins. to locations on the southern part of the island. There are plenty of bike rental companies that will pick up/drop off bikes at the house. The house itself was amazing, beautiful decor, and the yard/pool area was so serene, with no neighbors in sight. We enjoyed the outdoor entertainment area with plenty of seating and an outdoor TV, which was great for socially-distant entertaining during COVID. The house was well equipped with all of the cooking pans/utensils/etc. that we needed, and we were grateful for the strong wifi connection for working remotely. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We hope to stay at Fishful Thinking again in the future!

"Great location on a quiet street, short walk to the beach. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. Furniture and beds were all very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with high quality cookware. The pool and outdoor patio area were perfect, ample comfortable seating there as well. The only thing lacking was good beach chairs and umbrella. We never hesitate to rent them, as we spend a lot of time at the beach, however it's always nice when a house has them. Highly recommend this property. We'll be back!
